Noon to 2 AM: Today's Only Plan Is College Football (and a Jäger Bomb or Two)
Gray sky, showers, nothing on the calendar. A friend already ran 6 miles and hit the Sarasota farmers market, so he's earned 14 straight hours of college football. Here's the full slate, Florida teams first, with TV and odds.
Filling in while Kevin is in the Douro Valley, and honestly, today barely needs a writer. It needs a couch.
A friend texted me his Saturday this morning. Ran 6 miles. Walked the Sarasota farmers market downtown and came home with a bag of something green he will not eat. Then: "Now it's all about college football." The forecast has showers, a gray lid on the whole coast and a cool night coming. Nobody is going to the beach. The beach isn't even going to the beach.
So the schedule is the schedule: kickoff at noon, last game ends somewhere around 2 AM, and in between, a Jäger bomb when somebody scores. That's it. That's the whole calendar.
The inspiration comes from @tcaspdaily, who posted a 2000s-throwback Jäger bomb moment, complete with sunglasses and a fresh haircut, per the hashtags. It's the exact energy of a Saturday with no obligations. Give them a follow:

Pace yourself. It's 14 hours. Drink responsibly, eat something between quarters, and don't drive. Your couch has no DUI checkpoints.
Florida teams first
| Game | Kickoff (ET) | TV | Line | O/U |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Florida at No. 7 Texas | Noon | ABC | Texas -12.5 | 50.5 |
| Florida Atlantic at Army | Noon | CBSSN | Army -2.5 | 55.5 |
| Florida State at No. 3 Miami | 7 PM | ESPN | Miami -20.5 | 56.5 |
| Kent State at USF | 7 PM | ESPN+ | USF -20.5 | 45.5 |
UCF is off this week. The Gators open the day in Austin, which is a big ask for a team coming off two blowout losses, but they did hang 52 on Ole Miss this year, so nobody knows anything. Then at 7, Canes and Noles, the 75th-anniversary-ish edition of the rivalry, with Miami at 5-0 and FSU at 3-3. Have USF on the second screen.
The rest of the day

| Auburn at No. 1 Georgia | 3:30 PM | ESPN | Georgia -19.5 | 49.5 |

| No. 2 Notre Dame at No. 8 BYU | 7:30 PM | ABC | Notre Dame -10.5 | 46.5 |
| No. 20 Oklahoma State at No. 18 Houston | 7:30 PM | FOX | Houston -4.5 | 62.5 |
| Kentucky at No. 15 Oklahoma | 7:30 PM | SEC Network | Oklahoma -6.5 | 43.5 |
| Utah at No. 11 Colorado | 10:15 PM | ESPN | Utah -14.5 | 49.5 |
| Wake Forest at No. 21 Cal | 10:30 PM | ESPN2 | Wake Forest -10 | 53.5 |
| Nebraska at Oregon | 11 PM | FOX | Oregon -7 | 51.5 |
Ohio State at Indiana at noon is the best opener you could ask for. The 3:30 window is so stacked you'll need a remote in each hand. And Nebraska-Oregon at 11 is your 2 AM finish line. If you're still upright for the fourth quarter of that one, switch to water. You've earned it.
Odds are DraftKings lines via ESPN, pulled around 10:15 AM ET Saturday, and will move. TV and kickoffs from ESPN's Week 7 schedule and NCAA.com. Rankings as listed by ESPN.
