Good News on X: The Rays Brought a Goat, a Bucs Pass Rusher Got Married and Noah Wyle Does the Dishes

The Rays rolled out a goat for World Series Game 4, the Lightning's Coop's Catch for Kids raised $500,000, Yaya Diaby got married, Whole Foods sets its first Manatee County opening, Noah Wyle is the Sexiest Man Alive, Apple dropped M6 Macs and the dogs of X stuck their tongues out. Tuesday's good stuff from X.

The wind finally eased up a little, it's Tongue Out Tuesday, and somewhere in St. Petersburg a goat is getting ready for the biggest night of its life. That's a Tuesday I can work with.

Here's what people on X were smiling about since yesterday afternoon.

The Rays are bringing a goat to Game 4

Last night didn't go our way, and you can read about that in this morning's roundup. The Rays' social team, though, woke up and chose optimism. Their first post of the day was a goat. Just a goat, standing on a World Series Game 4 graphic dated tonight.

I don't know what the goat's job is. I don't need to know. Milwaukee leads the series 3-0, and nobody in Tampa Bay is turning down help from a farm animal right now. Game 4 is at 8 p.m. ET on Fox at Tropicana Field, and ESPN lists Griffin Jax as the Rays' starter.

The line, per DraftKings via ESPN (pulled about 9:30 a.m. ET Tuesday): Milwaukee is a slight road favorite, MIL -125 / TB +104. Run line MIL -1.5 (+141), TB +1.5 (-171). O/U 7.

The Lightning went fishing and raised $500,000 for kids

Monday was Jon Cooper's ninth annual Coop's Catch for Kids, the catch-and-release inshore grand slam tournament where Lightning players and coaches head out on guided boats with participants to raise money for pediatric cancer research and patient services. Per The Hockey News, this year's event raised $500,000, and the tournament has now raised more than $2 million since 2016. Proceeds go through the J5 Foundation, the Cooper family's charitable fund, per the Lightning. Money from past tournaments helped open the Coop's Catch for Kids Family Lounge at Muma Children's Hospital at Tampa General this summer.

Team Gourde took the Grand Slam with a combined 70.5 inches of fish, and the trophy is a metal redfish the size of a toddler. Best part: Cooper told The Hockey News he's not sure he's caught nine fish in the nine years since the event began. Coach, that's what the guides are for.

Yaya Diaby got married

Sunday he had three sacks in Charlotte. This morning the Bucs posted his wedding photos.

Those photos, shared via Yaya's own account, are stunning. Congratulations to Yaya and Mariama. That's a big week for one guy: a road win, a stat line and the best day of his life.

Whole Foods is nine days from opening in Bradenton

Manatee County's first Whole Foods Market opens Thursday, Nov. 5, at 8 a.m. in the Marketplace at Heritage Harbour, 7295 State Road 64 East, per the company's announcement. It's a 42,000-square-foot store, the 40th in Florida, open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, with more than 450 items from more than 115 Florida-based suppliers. The first 300 people in line get a Bradenton tote and a Secret Saver coupon worth up to $100 off, and there's Buddy Brew coffee in the morning.

So if you've been driving to University Town Center for your fancy cheese, your commute is about to get a lot shorter. Bring a chair. Somebody is going to camp out for that tote.

Noah Wyle is the Sexiest Man Alive, and he does the dishes

People named the 55-year-old star of The Pitt its 2026 Sexiest Man Alive. He told People he thought it sounded like a prank, and that his wife, Sara, is the reason he said yes, because "she was very pleased that this reflects well on her taste."

Then he gave the best answer in the history of the franchise: "I am the dish maven. The sink is my domain." His theory is that washing dishes looks like you're contributing in a big way, when really you're hiding in the kitchen thinking your own thoughts. Gentlemen, the Sexiest Man Alive just told you the secret. Go rinse a pan.

Apple dropped new Macs before lunch

Apple announced a new 24-inch iMac and a new 14-inch MacBook Pro this morning, both with the new M6 chip. Per Apple, the MacBook Pro gets up to 24 hours of battery life, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and starts at $1,999. The iMac starts at $1,499, the same price as before, per MacRumors, and still comes in blue, green, pink, yellow, purple, orange and silver. Pre-orders for both open Wednesday, Oct. 28, and they arrive Friday, Nov. 6.

Twenty-four hours of battery. That's enough to watch all nine innings of Game 4, the postgame show and every goat video the Rays post between now and Wednesday.

It's Tongue Out Tuesday, and the dogs of X showed up

#TongueOutTuesday is the weekly tradition where people post their pets mid-blep, and it's also International Black Cat Day, so the timeline this morning is basically all tongues and tiny black panthers. My favorite came from Zoey & Zeke, a pair of Havatons with more than 67,000 followers:

"Dad Guy" is the correct name for every dad. Runner-up goes to the National Tiger Sanctuary, a nonprofit for rescued animals, which posted Lily Tiger taking a break from looking dignified. Even royalty needs a blep.

That's Tuesday. A goat on standby, a toddler-sized fish trophy, a wedding, a grocery store with a tote bag giveaway and a Sexiest Man Alive with dishpan hands. Go Rays.

Can't pick? Pull a random one From the food, wine and myth-busting pile. No old game slates.
