They Put a Sticky Bun on the Latte. Then They Chased Soccer Practice.
Sip n Brew is a Lakewood Ranch family teardrop coffee trailer — Guatemalan beans roasted in Palmetto, lemonade for the non-coffee crowd, and a schedule that follows parks, schools and Sarasota Paradise.
A Lakewood Ranch teenager told her parents they should build a coffee business. They did not get a storefront. They got a teal teardrop trailer, drove to Tennessee to pick it up, and started pouring espresso in parking lots. That is Sip n Brew — co-owned by Katelyn Diaz and her parents, Rachel and Adriano — and it has been rolling since August 2025.
I am not saying every family meeting should end in a food truck. I am saying if yours ends in cold foam and a honey bun perched on a latte, I would like an invite.
What is actually in the cup
Beans are Guatemalan, roasted locally at Banyan Coffee Co. in Palmetto. The menu on their site runs the usual suspects — espresso, Americano, latte, cappuccino, cold brew — plus matcha, chai, lemonade refreshers (Lavender Lush, Coconut Craze, Blueberry Breeze, Strawberry Sunrise) and pastry sides like muffins and lemon loaf. Seasonal specials do the talking: the Honey Bun Latte (organic raw honey, sticky bun on top) and, for their one-year mark at Nathan Benderson Park, a Birthday Cake Latte with cold foam, sprinkles and a mini cupcake.

Where the trailer actually is
Schedules move. The one you can bank on right now: Nathan Benderson Park has them Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. by the West Shore playground. WWSB and SRQ Magazine also have them as the official coffee partner for Sarasota Paradise (USL One), plus community stops around schools, youth soccer and IMG Academy events. Confirm the day's pin on sipnbrew.com before you drive across University — trailers do not leave forwarding addresses.
I will not pretend I followed them to every soccer practice. I will pretend the sticky bun on the latte made the chase worth it.
